Birds Bay is more or less 60 minutes' drive from the main harbor and airport.

Starting from the town of Mytilini, follow the road signs to Kalloni, from there signs to Petra. A few klms before reaching Petra turn left onto the perhiperhy road and after approximately 4 klms turn right onto local road with sign to Birds Bay.
